Intellimap

The main objective of the project is to provide the product Intellimap of the functionality needed to develop mobile applications on mobile devices (PDA), to facilitate and optimize the intervention of forces working in the field.


Intellimap-Mobility aims to respond to maintenance technicians, technical assistance, security forces, engineers, armies, census workers, etc., Which use or will use mobile GIS technology to perform their tasks.

We must set as a fundamental objective of this project, develop and consolidate a national GIS technology as a product and promote it at international level. Intellimap-Mobility would integrate one or more of the technologies on the market in communication (Wireless), positioning (GPS), mobile (PDA) and 3D simulation.

Another of the basic objectives of the project is to evolve the current platform Intellimap toward a service-oriented architecture (SOA) to enable it cope with the new requirements of the new systems required by the market.
